2025-2026 FC Barrington Tryouts

Tryouts for the Fall 2025 - Spring 2026 Club Soccer season will take place from April 21-27, 2025 at the South Barrington turf fields.

Tryout Process
All Players will be notified about team placements no later than Wednesday April 30th via email. All players/families will have 48 hours to accept or decline their placement for the 2025-2026 season (August 2025-June 2026). Teams are created by birth year and ability level.

Team Designations
First Team - Black
Second Team - Red
Third Team - White

*If we have more than 3 teams in an age group we will have White 1 and White 2 team which will be divided evenly by ability* 

Tryout Costs
Tryouts are FREE! Only those players selected for FC Barrington teams will be responsible for any payments.

Check-In Information
Players should be dressed in athletic clothing, cleats, shinguards. All players should bring a fully inflated soccer ball and water bottle. Players will check-in at the South Barrington Pavillon no earlier than 30 minutes and no later than 15 minutes prior to their tryout start time. Players will receive a numbered tryout bib and take a head shot before the session begins. 

Spectator Instructions
Parents & guardians are welcome to watch from the north or south sidewalk areas off the field however only players and staff are allowed on any areas of the field throughout the tryouts. If a staff member asks you to move please cooperate. 

Additional Information
FC Barrington requires players to attend their own age group tryouts. If you are unable to attend tryouts or are unable to tryout on the dates specified for your age group, please register for your age group & contact Emina Zvizdich via email at Emina@basa.net. Anyone requesting to play-up an age group must submit their request a minimum of 48-hours prior to tryouts to our Executive Director, Emily Snyder via email at Emily@basa.net

Once there, you will create your account. After creating your account, you will add in your players.

Already have a Playmetrics Account?

If you already have a PlayMetrics account from another organization you will need to register your player(s) with BASA/FCB using your existing account.

To register for FCB, please follow the directions below:

  1. Sign into PlayMetrics

  2. Follow the FCB Registration Link.

  3. You will see a screen that will say “You are currently logged in as…”. Click “Continue”.

  4. Add your Player(s) and click “Finish”.
