WHAT IS FCX? 
FCX is the travel/competitive side of the Barrington Area Soccer Association. FCX provides comprehensive professional training for players who are committed to improving their level of play while being challenged and enjoying themselves. FCX Teams are created by birthyear and ability level (U9 and older). We pride ourselves on utilizing coaches who have experience and qualifications and are always looking to improve their knowledge of the game. This commitment to providing a quality training environment has allowed our players to have individual success and team success at all levels. 

All FCX U9 and older are created by birthyear and ability. Black is our top teams, Red 1 2nd level teams and Red 2 developmental teams. 

OUR FCX PLAYER PATHWAY 

FCX U9-U11
Girls teams compete in the IWSL Illinois Womens Soccer League
Boys teams compete in the YSSL Young Sportsmen Soccer League
**All  U9-U11 teams play in a competitive division based on their team's ability level 


FCX U12-U19
Boys and Girls RED 1 and RED 2 teams play in either IWSL or YSSL 
Boys and Girls BLACK TEAMS can compete in the USYS NATIONAL LEAGUE , IYSA STATE PREMIERSHP or IWSL or YSSL  
**All U12-U19 teams are placed in the best competitive environment for each team


FCX U13-U19 BLACK TEAMS ONLY - All FCX U13 and older teams compete in the IYSA CUP SERIES
- State Cup, Presidents Cup or Illinois Cup
**State Cup and Presidents Cup teams have a chance to earn a spot into the USYS Regional or National Championship (summer) 


U12-U19 USYS NATIONAL LEAGUE DETAILS: Competitive Regional based league

-Regardless of size of the club or your past history, anyone can EARN THEIR PLACE 
-Teams start in the National League Conference Qualifier (Illinois Teams) and have to earn their promotion 
-National League P.R.O and Prem 1 divisions are two of the most competitive leagues in the country for individual teams 
-National League P.R.O, Prem 1, and Prem 2 are Regional based divisions comprised of multiple states 
-The National League is only offered to those FCX teams that are at a collective ability level to compete in this league (this is not a guarantee)

-The State Premiership offers elite level teams the opportunity to compete against other top teams in Illinois
-A local high level in-state competition 
-The State Premiership is only offered to those FCX teams  that are at a collective ability level to compete in this league (this is not a guarantee)
